The morning sun hits directly in the morning, so although stunning , in bright scene not so much reflection a issue as pointed out in this video. With summer , hotter weather & longer days I’m favouring neo qled

I’m between choosing a Panasonic JZ200 and tcl c825 for the same reason . Although neo QLED seems great , I’m a bit put off with the price and would rather trust Tcl’s experience with mini leds over Samsung’s brand name … plus the price difference is way too big

@@kallestofeles Mmmhhh interesting take. I need natural sunlight while working daytime, and I got used to reflections since my last TV/monitor was in the same place as the CX... reflections are kinda annoying but not a deal-breaker for this TV. For Nightime I will add a led strip behind the TV, even if I'm an anti-RGB-everything guy, also, I have a personal (or mental) issue with bedside-type or floor lamps, LOL! Have a great day!

I took my 77" C1 off the stand and wall mounted. Because of the extra wide viewing angle, I can turn the TV down and away from light sources to limit reflections day night. Wall mounting with articulating features can greatly reduce and almost eliminate light reflections.

They are pretty much the same without any big uplifts. If you can save a few hundred bucks then CX makes more sense, but if they're nearly identically priced, then definitely go for the C1 as the software support will last longer. In my case, I actually got the C1 cheaper than the old CX... don't know why, but the market in Estonia is weird from time to time. all things tech actually did make an interesting video where he compared the CX and C1 directly against each other and did notice a pretty big difference in SDR clarity so that could be of interest when considering for the purchase. I never did have a CX so it was an easy pick with the lower prices. Here's the ATT video I mentioned about SDR difference, check it out: https://youtu.be/c9aV7D7OhbY

Reflections on all oled tvs aren't that bad unless in an absolutely light filled room and I mean sunlight lol the thing I have noticed with Sony oled tvs it's like they have a layer they add because the panel on the a90j is much more black then my lg c9 is most usually have an almost purple hue the a90j is like pure black lol for me I don't mind the reflections and it's still better then blooming and overall contrast in the actual image the richness of oled is absolutely unbeatable lol

I'm between the choice of LG C1 or the new Samsung QN94A Neo 55! the thought of pixel burnout really annoys me! I don’t want to think about it, but as I see some have such a problem! I have been taking TV for 5 years and I'm not going to think about God all the time, but my pixels on my TV have not burned out!?)) I will not play games on TV, I only take it to watch a movie in 4K with HDR! what would you recommend? yes i will place tv in my livingroom and it is bright!) approximately like in your room

@@kallestofeles Thank you very much for responding! I was just yesterday at a local electrical store here in Dublin called Harvey Norman(but this is not so important) and you know I first tried the Samsung QN94A Neo 55, I had a 4TB external hard drive with me and I connected a 4K UHD, HDR movie to the TV one film weighs 80-90gb and then I tried LG C1 next to it and you know I didn't want to look back at the Samsung QN94A Neo!)) Damn it, the lights and blooming on the Samsung screen infuriated me all the time! it was very noticeable (and this Samsung model is even more expensive then LG C1) and as for LG OLED, it's just something unimaginable what quality OLED panels have! as well as from all my studies of different TVs, I realized that the newer OLED LG models, starting from 2020, they have much better panels than older models! I, as I said, will not play games on this TV LG OLED, but honestly I want to tell you that the quality of the picture impressed me so much that I already fell ill with LG C1 and it’s too late to change something, it costs 1899 euros in the store, now it is valid until July 27 special promotion and it costs 1682 euros! Yes, everything is expensive in Ireland! and I will still take OLED! maybe I'll be lucky and nothing will happen to the panel! but I'll watch great movies! and damn it I live once! to hell with all of it...)) what do you say to that ...?)

Thank you for dropping by! Based on this, I would honestly go for the QN94A. It's specs are pretty nice, has excellent bright room performance and you can have the piece of mind regarding the longevity of your purchase. Sure, during evenings, the dark room experience would be better on a C1 and you do not get the blooming/halo effect thanks to self-lit pixels, but if you mainly use the TV in a bright room and are not OK with the prospect of possibly replacing the TV in a few years due to panel issues, then the C1 might not be the best choice. I know that the image quality of an OLED is simply amazing and I can never look back at the LCD technology the way I did before, but I am also a weirdo who likes dimly lit rooms with dimmer than normal screens. 😃

@@kallestofeles So I think I am getting the first signs of burn in on my CX after almost 5500 hours. You may not remember me but I commented on a previous video about having a ridiculous amount of hours and not hiding my task bar. Well after reading your comment it reminded to do a burn in test. And I think I am starting to see slightly less screen uniformity around the where the task bar icons are located with certain color backgrounds. Its honestly so imperceptible to the point where I wasn't sure if it was just in my head. But after very careful inspection I don't think it is. Granted not all 5500 hours were with the task bar up, but the vast majority were. Either way, going to start hiding the task bar now. Kind of interested to see if it goes away on its own over the coming days, might manually run a pixel refresh. So might be too soon to declare burn in. But its certainly my first sign of something.

Thank you for dropping by and for the kind words! 💜 I usually sit around 1m away from the screen (eyes to display) and although it took a while to get used to, it's now perfectly normal and does not strain the eyes if I don't crank the brightness up too much. Hmm, regarding static windows, the pixel shift in the TV's settings is the obvious one to turn on but that doesn't cover it all. In windows, I keep the taskbar automatically hidden but I tend to get lazy with windows themselves. I do use fancyzones (from MS powertoys) to keep everything organized, but that makes it so that specific parts of the screen would still always get the window titlebars, etc. When I'm working I use fancyzones a lot and punish the panel that way as I simply need the comfort it offers in order to keep tabs on what I'm working on, but when I'm using the TV on my main PC, I simply tend to keep windows lying around at random places and static windows (like discord, skype, etc) are only on a separate virtual desktop which I visit from time to time. Honestly, I cannot wait for the first signs of burn-in as that would give me an indication on how I should actually be using the panel and how good it is for desktop use in general. Pretty much anyone owning a C1 right now on youtube is simply guessing and cannot know the longevity for sure... unless they have cranked the brightness up to 100% and have let a single picture remain on the screen for months. 😀

only very few users realise that on a glossy screen you notice reflections less because you focus on the screen. you do not focus far into the "mirror" to the lights. on matte screens its worse because the reflectios match the same focus area where you want to read the monitor.

Thanks for sharing! I've been thinking for almost a month and wondering which of the following tvs to buy! Everyday we are getting bombarded by updates and new content so it's really obvious that it will lead us to the land of confusion! To cut a fairly long story short, I'm between LG C1 or the new Samsung QN95A (The European model and equivalent to QN90A US) . What really bugs me is the obsessive thinking regarding the so called "burn-in" ! It will be mixed-use, both video games (ps5) , streaming platforms like Netflix and Disney Plus and the typical tv channels (to give you numbers: 30%-60%-10%) The tv will be placed in our livingroom. It's sunny but we have awnings to avoid the harmful sunrays and keep the living room shady (mediterranean countries you see)...What would you recommend over the above mentioned models?

OLED is a mirror with absolute eye popping, amazing, detailed image quality. For me the reflections drive me nuts and I find them very distracting. IMHO OLED is only good if you have a dedicated room with movie theater control for lack of light. Otherwise, the reflections distract from using the OLED as a tv.
