Keyboard controls in adventures seems like a bad idea. I had this recently in Call of Cthulhu: Shadow of the Comet (1993). There you control with the arrow keys and you don't need the mouse at all. You could remap the keys to a gamepad and play with that. I guess gamepad support may be the reason why Black Mirror has these movement controls as well. I don't know whether it actually supports a gamepad or came out for a console.
I think you might be right here. I didn't look either whether the game was released on consoles or not, however it would seem that it did - hence explaining the control scheme. Thanks for pointing it out! :)
