@@frenchpet Glad to help! The Avermedia Live Gamer Portable 2 has a button just like the PVR Rocket, but it also handles streams pretty well. Not spectacular, but it gets the job done. Best part is, I'm running it OOTB on Debian 11 with no issues via OBS, sans a small amount of color degradation. Gardiner Bryant did a video on it some time ago. His video helped me make the purchase: https://youtu.be/J0rhQPAy_MM Let me know how it goes!

@@Kyjorei Thanks for the reply. Nah, it's detected as USB when I lsusb (I think the drivers were added to the kernel since you made your tutorial). When I `ls /dev/video*` nothing shows up so I dunno. I tried rebooting (lol) with it plugged in and that didn't work. I tried plugging in BOTH usb cables to the PC, that didn't work. Not a deal breaker, would have liked to stream a bit but I can work around that with other ways of doing it (OBS desktop capture). The device is wicked regardless, being able to record without a pc onto a usb by pressing a red button is dope. I'll look into the Avermedia Live Gamer Portable 2 since you are saying it works in linux (out of the box I hope haha). Thanks for the recommendation!

Hmm. It isn't being detected as a separate display via your display manager? I sold my PVR Rocket a few years ago and replaced it with an Avermedia Live Gamer Portable 2, so I unfortunately can't test this. Check out Egee's video. I think he tested it on SteamOS (debian) and demonstrated his setup. Here's a link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fCxFACbUZOs Hope this helps!
