I remember using many of these around my mothers house back in 2013-2014 to connect not only my setup but devices like her bluray player which lacked wifi support! I remember having some issues with stability occasionally but they were a great solution for areas with weak or no wireless reception.
A tip for these is that they really need to be on the same breaker for the best performance and stability. If you have separate breakers in your home you need to try and use outlets on the same one or you can get stability issues and performance drops.
Cool to see that they're still around and that theyve seemingly been improving
