@f8jllsvrhouse577 btw if u want to do VR via steamVR u need a very strong computer, desktops will be better for that pricewise. best option for VR is to get a quest 2, cause it is standalone, so oculus games that you buy, you dont need an computer to run, it runs directly within the Quest 2

well, since I don't have a native supported VR device (aka Valve Index) just a Quest 2, I would have to use ALVR which would give me even lower performance, plus I don't even own Beat Saber on steam, so it would cost me time & money, just to show a disappointing result :|

@NuSuey ahhh ok, any idea if you can try running beat saber? I want to see the fps you can get on it (there is just one other video about it) I'm just curious how it would work

This is being played on the Quest 2, on which Beat Saber is being streamed to the Deck, so no, the game is running on the Quest 2. I love the Steam Deck, but if you want to get it to play Steam VR games, you need a stronger computer
