it has nothing to do with steam in wine, its native steam client which allows you to play windows games now via Steam Play feature

It crashes on launch for me. Can you share some details about the config you use ? For instance : are you using steam-native or steam-runtime, which version of proton, any libraries you installed for this, etc..

ohh, yeah dishonored 2 is a different beast. might be some copy-protection system that prevents it from running or something like that

i didnt specially install anything. i use steam-runtime, proton default, but it works with proton 3.7-4 beta also. i have Dishonored RHCP version, i have no idea what those letters mean in the end, it wasnt like that years ago when i bought it. as for libraries. i dont know, my system has many but most common ones for windows games through wine are ms corefonts i guess.

Hey Xpander69, it might not be a good idea to use kernel 4.17+ the NSA has found a way into it.
