i think it still needs some work and there are some issues with amd drivers atm as well some nvidia bugs, but amd currently has more issues.. anyway it would be nice indeed :D Maybe its Valve's secret master plan to launch Steam Machines 2.0 and support every dx11 game with vulkan :) Who pays this guy who makes this work? he doesnt accept patreon afaik and the improvements are rapid and amazing... makes me wonder :D
