@@xpander69 It works fine with OpenGL (I even intend to finish the game), I do gameplays on DXVK to show Intel ANV development on Intel Haswell (which does not have full support for Vulkan).

you probably need to run it with -force-glcore i guess? afaik intel ANV drivers don't support Transform Feedback yet, which is needed for this game when running with DXVK

@@xpander69 I tried to install the Subnautica from the Subnautica from Epic Games Store script of the lutris.net/games/ page. It seems to don't work. But I am trying to install just the Epic Games Store by now.

@@LinuxPlayer9 ohh, thats sad. I never used Lutris, using my own scripts to do the installation and manage different prefixes/wine versions. I thought Lutris makes it automated and takes care of all this

its just using about 60-70% of my GPU, so if i had 4K monitor in theory it would run same FPS wise for me on that, just GPU gets more utilized. Probably my Ryzen singlethread perf is the limitation here, with newer and higher clocked intels it probably is much better

@@xpander69 yeah it flickers a lot (it mostly stays black) but it's installable and playable both the game and the launcher, i will suggest using a script for launching it (or any other for that matter). My Epic games store was installed by the Lutris script (however it doesn't work sometimes, but once it does it does (i don't know what the issue may be for such instability))

yeah EPIC store doesnt work anymore. But game can still be played outside of it if you got it downloaded. You also need older wine. it doesnt seem to work with 4.0 wine. I hear launcher also works for some people with 3.21, but its gitchy and black but can be navigated when moving the mouse it will sometimes blink the contents

Yeah now it shows the HUD. But, I should leave the -force-glcore on the Subnautica launch options right ?

@@joaomarques6187 epic games launcher -opengl switch shouldn't matter as this would count only for the store client. If you use -force-glcore for subnautica, then the hud doesnt work as the game uses opengl then which isnt covered by DXVK. Dont use that if you need Hud. Im not really familiar what lutris does, so there might be something going on with lutris itself also, like maybe it forces subnautica to use opengl. No idea really

I installed Epic Games Launcher with Lutris and then I installed Subnautica, I noticed that the Epic Games Launcher as -opengl as a launch argument. Is this it ? I added the -force-glcore on the Subnautica launch options when I'm on the client itself.

If it doesn't work with Subnautica, then maybe you are running it with OpenGL? -force-glcore switch. DXVK_HUD works with DX11 and DX10 only. If you have D9VK also then also DX9 games show this, but vulkan and OpenGL games do not.
