Cerbereus there's mate-menu (previously called mintmenu) a bit like whisker. XFCE is my next best option to MATE. KDE third. Never got the tilling wms work good with my workflow.

Thanks for the screenshot, well i m the same page as you, I try lot of DE (using Arch here) but I always keeping going back to XFCE, I like MATE but I always like XFCE(whisker menu) or even the LXQT (maybe they need to make an upgrade of their start menu), last option be kde(they make it use less resource that is impressive). I should try dockbarX, I use plank for the simplicity. But what the most I like is barebones as i3 it's fun and the workflow is super fast when you get used it, but I think i will take better use with bigger monitor.

Yeah i still use MATE. I just can't use those so called modern desktops, which aren't configurable or make everything require more clicks or remove nice important features. They feel like tablet Desktops (Gnome3, Bungie, Unity and Pantheon im looking at you). I use workspaces to switch around important applications that are maximized on each workspace. Chat programs are constantly available on the second monitor, no matter the workspace im on. My conky script ofc that shows important information. DocbarX is used for window list and right side panel is autohide for some important applications. heres a screenshot of my desk: https://www.upload.ee/image/7900336/ss_17012018_11.04.42.png

Lutris should be fine, do you have steam version? for me it asks if i want to run dx9 or dx11 version when i hit play in steam, you can use right click on the game also and choose Play with directx9 edit: you can also try to disable steam overlay, right click on the game in steam library, properties and untick the overlay. That can sometimes cause some weird issues also

Where do you change dx9 or dx11? In fact, I was trying to running from Lutris. I dont know how to install Wine directly. Theres a command line in WineHQ for Debian: $ deb https://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/debian/ DISTRO main And I dont know what to put in "DISTRO" haha I'm new at Linux, so thats why all these questions.

uhm. i dont think distro matters, unless deepin does something really odd. check the terminal what errors will pop up, so there might be some clues. Also try to run in dx9 mode. dx11 mode works with dxvk/wine though.
