Hey Xpander, I'm curious, after the tutorial level is your framerates just as bad? I've found that the low performance was only really during the tutorial level so far for my experience, and V-sync is very very nasty to the fps.

+Penguin Recordings its just that the shader compiling thing with Unreal Engine, it will get lot of smoother later because everything is pre-compiled and stored..but if theres some new effect it will drop fps again to compile the shader, not a good impression when you start playing :( but yeah..to answer shortly, it gets smoother (a lot) the more you play

I am puzzled. I have almost exactly the same machine: EVGA GTX970 SC, 8GB RAM, i7-870, Archlinux 64, nvidia drivers 361.18. And main menu and maps are completely corrupted. I took a screenshot here: http://imgur.com/nvpNU5l Any idea what I am doing wrong?

+Xpander69 Finally, the problem has been found: this occurs if you have LC_ALL set to a non English language. To fix it, type unset LC_ALL and verify your .bashrc to prevent this in the future.

+ZebulonPlanet uhh..that is super strange... no idea whats the problem there, maybe verify your game content again? if you havent done that yet
