I used proton 9.0 (Beta). If it doesn't work for you i guess you need to enable PROTON_LOG=1 %command% in the Launch options of steam and then check the log file that's being created to $HOME folder

Ehh gpu-screen-recorder is strange. frametime spikes and audio is delayed. Sorry about that. Will switch back to OBS.
