+snowdreike It''s more like you can pause the gameplay and then plan out a bunch of moves. Doing so will cause the main character to execute those moves much more quickly than if you were to do them yourself, allowing you to de-buff, push around, and destroy groups of enemies and objects. Think of it like VATS in the Fallout series, but it allows you to do a lot more.

its actually weirder.. its realtime, but you can do some amount of attacks within a second, thus the pause menu - you can do all that without pausing also but its a lot harder
