you install windows version of steam with wine and then install the game inside that steam you cant install windows games inside the native(linux) steam

i do have my linux mint on my spare partition still:) (linked to same /home parition as Arch) but yeah..switched to Arch In January... always wanted to switch but didnt just have the time to make it. systemd and aur were the reasons to make the long planned switch :)

wine 1.4 is quite ancient. get 1.5.29 which is the latest do winetricks directx9 vcrun2008 as well. should run fine.
