so the Rockstars Launcher even doesnt start up for you? like it completely doesnt start? Worked out of box for me with proton 5.0-9, so if you created the prefix with earlier proton version it might be a problem and fresh reinstall with up to date proton would hopefully fix it

imo GTA IV is better than GTA V, even in graphics. Each time I play GTA V, I'm surprised at how bad and just washed out everything looks. GTA IV looks dark and gritty, like a GTA game should. I still love it. If they could somehow bring some of the mechanics from GTA V to GTA IV, it would be a damn near masterpiece.

100% agree with you. I also like the car physics more in GTA IV, much more realistic, except the gravity at times :D but still.

GTA IV works a lot better on Linux, on Windows I had lots of errors. But on Linux, I don't have any problems.
