checkpoint saves work, haven't tried other ways of saving though. did not need any hosts file hack either

In my side (with a 770GTX) framerate was better and more stable with opengl renderer.. ( 70/80fps with opengl, 40 to 70 with vulkan)

Maybe because the GTX 770 is not properly supported by Vulkan.

woow. more stable for me with vulkan. 90-180fps, mostly around 130fps all ultra and much better latency no huge jumps.. with opengl 50-130, mostly around 90 mark

how'd you get it to work with vulkan? i selected to use vulkan in the doom menu and when I restarted the game, the game doesn't start at all. it just says running in the steam menu and then it stops and syncs my saves like I just quit it.

do other vulkan games work? like Talos Principle or Dota 2? might be you are having issues with drivers
