How how do you get the newer nvidia drivers? Im running 346 from the software and updates i cant find anything newer to install. Im also pretty new to ubuntu

chapie62 im using Arch and it has newer drivers (bleeding edge updates).. for ubuntu i think you need to add thirdparty PPA(repository) to get those drivers. https://launchpad.net/~xorg-edgers/+archive/ubuntu/ppa

Nice video, around 40 fps for a game on linux with an open world, is look amazing, of course can improve a lot, but I don' t think so ur cpu bottle necked. Besides you was recording at the same time .

that is odd, but when you receive that bottlenecek ur game must be laggy, to me you play it smooth, because the gpu can handle more demand. Well we must know if this game is for multi thread or multi core on the port of linux. Well if for some reason you can try in other SO if happen the same ;) using the same amount of gpu.

MrElmatador82 its about 10-15% better without recording.. but the CPU is bottlneck.. because GPU utilization usualy is between 40-45%, max i have seen was 60% .. that means some bottlneck somewhere.. and its most likely CPU
