NOTE! Some heavy FPS drops when loading new areas. Mouse movement is jumpy in places due recording software.

Inspired by the adventure and imagination that we love from classic science-fiction, No Man's Sky presents you with a galaxy to explore, filled with unique planets and lifeforms, and constant danger and action.
In No Man's Sky, every star is the light of a distant sun, each orbited by planets filled with life, and you can go to any of them you choose. Fly smoothly from deep space to planetary surfaces, with no loading screens, and no limits. In this infinite procedurally generated universe, you'll discover places and creatures that no other players have seen before - and perhaps never will again.

so, ~4 hours in it now or a bit more and i can say its pretty interesting now, there was no tutorial so at the beginning it took some time to figure out stuff, once you fix your first spaceship and can start to fly between planets and space stations it will be much more interesting, crafting and searching new things, learning new alien languages to be able to make nice trades with different spieces etc. pretty good.. probably will be grind fest at some point but so far i like what i see.

Wow! Does NMS run on OpenGL or something? I'm amazed that it works on day one.

Okay. That makes more sense. That's cool though. At the very least, No Man's Sky is very impressive technically. It's cool they're using OpenGL and Voxels and shit are cool too.

Hi, Xpander69!
I read on GOG, that you need GOG Galaxy for the "online stuff" (naming and uploading planets, plant and animal names - so other can see it). **Does Galaxy work with wine?**
I will probably buy the game at a later date (Christmas, haha), I watched many streamers play it, and I like the atmosphere and the loneliness of it (although I would love to have more NPCs and interactions with them). In the meantime I hope it gets many improvements!
