Let me know if i should keep pushing 60FPS videos or not...
i think 60 is too much and maybe i should settle at 45 FPS or something. 60FPS video rendering also takes twice as long as 30FPS one..
also you need Chrome/Chromium or Opera-Beta to be able to see this and html5 enabled
NOTE: firefox users go to about:config and edit this to that: set media.mediasource.enabled - its experimental though and might have issues

***** good idea... and yeah ziggurat seems to struggle on some places... my bet is that it drops to around 35 fps at some places + the recording software kills a bit perf also.. will try 45 fps for my next video...which will be probably Double Action (Free source engine game)

you can make a comparison video 30 vs 45 vs 60 fps, it depends on which game you play i guess. but i think Ziggurat doesnt run at 60 fps on your gaming machine.

Don't know if its worth your effort but I will say it looks amazing. Def. a much better representation of what you actually see while playing the game.

Definitely noticeable difference. Yet in the end it's up to you if you wish to push the extra effort.
In games I'd perfer 60fps, sure... but for youtube?... I think that it's a bit too much as the spoken content remains the major point of why I watch/listen to them... video can be even 20fps for all I care. =)>
But when you really want to show off good performance of a particular title, go ahead, a brilliant idea to render it in 60fps for linux. =)>

well i try 45 fps with my next video.. in a couple of days and then will see which one i choose.. sadly i dont provide spoken content in my videos :) im not a native to english and some people just like to watch gameplay videos when they want to decide if to buy a game or no (myself included, since some commentators are biased too much) ...but i do like to watch TBs videos a lot ..and some others on youtube :)

what you mean? is the game fps same as the 60fps recording output? no its not.. the game seems to struggle with fps at some points... i dont have exact numbers however..but it feels like it runs 60 fps most of the time but has some drops to as low as 35 or similar in places.

Is the 60 FPS visible on Firefox browsers? It looks smoother at 1080p, but I can't be sure honestly. Good job on keeping with the latest in tech! I didn't know we could do 60fps videos now :)

It works well with your 60fps videos, but the rest of youtube breaks for me sadly. It also seems to cause my FF to hang quite often when enabled. Thank you for helping though :)

Alright, so it's definitely not 60fps for me as it doesn't show that at the bottom. I'll try find a plugin, thanks for the info!

afaik only chrome/chromium and opera beta and up support it... you have to switch to html5 also . but i have heard that there are some plugins for firefox that allow this..not really sure..im using opera myself like that: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/28788188/ss_04112014_17.14.47.png

I don't think it's worth the extra effort to produce 60FPS videos but that's just my opinion. Looks great though!
