Apparently once you get 5+++ hrs in things turn to shit with freeze-ups/crashing/performance drops etc... According to Linus at least. (Steam Deck only issue?)

@@xpander69 I have not run into the slowdown issue either, but the game ran very poorly on my GTX 1080. I actually made a Linux gameplay video on this game recently as well.

I did have a few freeze on game or crashing one, but let be honest the first hours is a just scenario that is script, because is the tutorial teaching how to play because you learn about the game and history and mostly rendering script you must follow, when you are in open world you loss a little performance, mostly all the game do that. But is not so drastic, happen the same on windows at less with my hardware (rx480 and i5 6660k). I think maybe have something to do with the shaders that game must load when you enter a new area when loading the game or just open up. But the game become more demanding hitting the performance I think maybe is just be more if you let open the game for a long period of time on standby. I will be honest I had to wait like a year to been fixed but testing both linux and windows for not having crash (at the end still has it few), drastic performance issues that now are little. The game is playable but still have some issues also on any platform it wasn't a good port they fixed some issues but still is not a good port just talking performance vs the hardware is use.

could be just steam deck hardware/software related. But i haven't reached that far yet. It ran like trash on my 1080Ti, so i can now finally play. Will let you know when i get into thhe later part of the game
