This is great to see, but every time I've tried to run WT in Wine, my framerates are so slow that they go from ~80 (in Windows) to under 10 in Ubuntu 14.04. Perhaps it's the DM I'm using, but I'd think that an OpenGL game wouldn't suffer from such severe drops in fps.
At least there's the announcement made at E3 that WT will have a native Linux port soon, so I'm happy nonetheless. I just wish I could've avoided having to use Windows to play like you did. Great job!
hmm no idea whats the problem for you then .. i dont think its the issue of DM, WM or DE ...you could try __GL_THREADED_OPTIMIZATIONS=1 if you are using nvidia card or use a CSMT patched wine.. but for me those options doesnt change much in terms of framerate..actually _GL_THREADED makes it run even slower somehow.
but yeah they announced native stuff on E3... cant wait.
