game is pretty high on cpu usage (3 cores at full load) - nothing remaining for recorder.
high tearing due recorder (tearing isn't that noticeable in game. but there is some tearing)
seems to run around 40-60FPS on mid settings and about 10FPS less with ultra (thats just the guesswork though, don't know actual FPS, just the feel)

How to get it to work (playonlinux)?
-installed terraria via playonlinux script
-added blockscape into terraria prefix
-created shortcut of blockscape into terraria prefix
-changed wine version from 1.5.2 to 1.5.28
-installed quartz.dll from the install components tab
-installed msdmo.dll into ~/PlayOnLinux's virtual drives/terraria/drive_c/windows/system32/ (https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/28788188/msdmo.dll)
-started the game
