Surprised this game hasn't received the EAC treatment. Been forced back to win10 due to the EAC/BE takeover of anything multiplayer. :( FYI: EAC doesn't actually stop cheating, but it sure does stop linux dead in its tracks. BE too I'd assume.

@@crzyruskie86 Probably flags players to admins that then ban the cheating player. But yes there are cheats and hacks around EAC. Wish they stop blaming us Linux users for windows hackers.

Yeah, this game doesn't seem to have it and hopefully won't ever. Hopefully some day we can play EAC/BE games with proton/wine also. Theres hope that valve does something about it if the rumors about their switch like device are true, they must overcome those issues before.

@@linuxpirate i haven't extensively been testing the voicechat, but im quite sure i heard NatherulPC who also played under linux. then again he couldnt hear me. We used discord anyway though. The join issue has a workaround, mentioned in the description. That only works for the Adventure mode though. Haven't tried 5.13 proton though, thanks for the tip.

Voice chat also doesn't work in game if not mentioned in the video. Your crew using steam chat/discord is a must. SoT is my most played through game on Steam through Proton and I love it. There have been some login/join issues lately but I hear using Proton 5.13.X fixes that.
