Vsync has to be disabled for my case, otherwise it runs like crap in some places. its super smooth when thats disabled on all ultra except ubersampling. 
for stable video output i needed to disable compton.. but that causes severe screen tearing.

also it seems its a wrapped game ...using something called eON.

I get horrible performance man even on low. Specs are: Intel 3570k @ 4.3 GHZ, GTX 780, 16 GB Corsair RAM, and Ubuntu 14.04. Trying to decide whether or not to install arch to test

Tried on Ubuntu 14.04 using unity. Strangely enough my GPU made a strange noise like coil whine, but it doesn't do that on windows.

i dont think its issue with distro.. probably driver version? i have 337.19 ... or maybe desktop environment which doesnt have forced vsync that im using? ... MATE in my case
