NOTE! Game is being updated rapidly, success of running it may depend on the version. Video was captured few days ago on a version 0.946, but there is already newer version out now.
wine-staging 1.9.19 CSMT enabled
64bit wineprefix
winetricks corefonts
launch option -force-d3d9 was used
-force-glcore causes rendering to be broken (everything is pink and terminal complains about missing 2 pass surface features)
NOTE! Developers have noted that the game should come to linux natively at some point when there are no massive issues exporting from unity.

Do you know if they plan a Linux native release? This game looks great, looks like it is what No Man Sky should have been :)

Hi Xpander69 I'm also on Arch64 and trying to launch Osiris with wine, same version as you describe.
The game show me an error «Please launch Osiris through Steam client» but when I launch from Steam the game is launched in d3d11 mode, and the screen is black. Any idea ? Can you tell me the command you are using to launch the game ?

use the steam launch options by rightclicking the game, taking properties, set launch options and type --force-d3d9 into there

Does this still work for you? I recently installed and the game won't work :( Manjaro Linux, AMDGPU (rx460) doesn't matter which version of wine, it doesn't work :(

As a self update, Osiris now works again with Steam/Proton. Problem was you only had the choice of Dx11 later on...with DXVK this now works again.
