Simple install with PlayOnLinux. Forgot that my recorder records teamspeak also:)
game runs pretty good. all settings high from the options(including shadows), mostly 60fps, in huge action drops to around 40 fps. with recorder framerate is little worse ofc. and the recorder cant keep up with the real ingame framerate like u can see from the framerate info in the game.

RPG or MMO probably, because FPS is too much lag sensitive:) we live in different places in world so there will be more latency

u have windows probably?. its known that u loose about 20% perf (or sometimes even more) when gaming in wine.

i cannot see why it shouldn't work with cinnamon. if u have a decent nvidia card with prop drivers it will work. maybe works with ati prop drivers also, havent tested

Works perfect! Just a little fails with the progress bars when casting spells or capturing turrets on dominion... but fine on the other things. 45-50fps all the time max settings. :3

:( try wine registry key "useGLSL disabled" should help with some performance at least with nvidia cards.

hey I notice you are using 32 bit versions of wine. I have a 64 bit system and when I creat a virtual drive in order to install League of legends, I cannot select a 64 bit version. any ideas?

i have 64bit system also..but wine is 32bit... 64bit has some problems with some 32bit apps.. LoL is one of the 32bit apps like most are. better use 32bit imo..more stable

Hi, I installed LoL with PlayOnLinux, but when I first started the game Most of it was black and just a few elements had been loaded. After a restart, the the game didn't start anymore. I just get a little white window in the middle of the screen (I guess it is the LoL logo) and nothing more happens...

its under testing catecory in playonlinux make sure u have latest playonlinux from playonlinux website. the one that comes with mint 13 by default is much older version

go to playonlinux website and search for download then select ubuntu and click on the deb file and install it. u probably have older than that version..thatswhy u cant install

its the recording software. fps is mostly at 60 ..drops to around 45 in big action when not recording.

force ur cpu to max perf with cpu-freq tool or jupiter applet (google it) and make sure u have undirect fullscreen windows enabled from compiz if u using unity or just compiz

TheUbuntuGamingTV ffmpeg is fine but you have to know a bit how to make scripts to properly use it.. SimpleScreenRecorder does that for you..it also uses ffmpeg somewhat.

get a SimpleScreenRecorder ...settings i use: Container: Matroska(MKV), codec:H.264, Constant rate factor: 16, Preset:ultrafast, Allow frame skiping enabled, audio Codec: uncompressed

You cant get more fps in linux using a windows game through wine or play on linux. You only see an advantage if the game is linux native, like l4d2..
