@Dan Doe i don't really make reviews since english is not my native language.. this was more of a first impressions without commentary, just unpacked, plugged in, updated the firmware and tested some games. I dont plan to use it much anyway, im not really a controller person.. maybe if i get used to it i will use for some racing games when they arrive for linux

you did say it right indeed.. Arch is pretty complicated for new user to install.But theres wiki that teaches you step by step what to do.There are Arch based distros like Antergos and Manjaro that have simple installers for people who don't want to mess with commands.

i dont think theres a best distro for gaming. every distro can be and ubuntu is usually officialy supported by games. for me arch is just the way i want to use linux. i choose what to use and arch user repository has pretty much every weird application available without adding extra PPAs or compiling stuff manually

On Ubuntu 15.10 I had to use the workaround from here http://askubuntu.com/questions/686214/how-do-i-get-a-steam-controller-working In particular I had to install python3-autopilot so that my user-account would have write access to /dev/uinput After that games like Dirt Showdown, Shadow of Middle Earth, etc. recognized it as an controller.
