I heard there is no cross-platform multiplayer for the Linux version. :( Kinda sucks when majority of friends are part of the Nazi Windows side.

+Matoro Zeliph Yeah, it is a letdown that it's not cross-platform MP. On the small upside though, Feral have scheduled every Thursday 9PM GMT for some Linux multiplayer if you thirst for human blood.

Oh wow that music at the start brought me back in time! So many hours spend with this game. Now if only the would port over the original Rome: Total War. it is still my fav in the series and it is impossible to run in wine. The tactics of roman times fits the gameplay much better imo.

Is it my OCD or is the game stretched to fit 16x9? Im with you Xpander, micro managing games are generally not fortay outside of maybe RPGs.
