what i did to get it working?
winetricks directx9 vcrun2010 dotnet40
download: http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?mscoree
and paste it to ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/system32/
go to winecfg and add mscoree to the overrides.

not planned afaik. they said it would bhe too expensive to port and that would require quaranteed 10k linux buyers.

The damn game is built on UE3 right? We have a native version of UE3 on Linux... I dont understand. We got Dungeon Defenders, and soon to be Painkiller: Hell and Damnation.

its not so native.. Dungeon Defenders was ported by icculus. its not really an official UE3 port. Also Painkiller H&D is ported by the developers of the game, not the Epic crew. so UE3 isnt ported by Epic. afaik, only one version of UE3 supports linux somewhat(according to rumors), and that needs a full source version to be bought, which many smaller companies cant buy, they are just using the cheap UDK.
