needed to set d3d11.dll override in winecfg and set it to disable to make the game work.
server browser list sometimes makes the game crash but otherwise seems to work fine.
i didnt play multiplayer because of the framerate on stable when recording.
highest graphical settings make the game quite slow to enjoy on multiplayer
but medium and some high works fine
NOTE! there is a graphical issue in the game. black spots are seen in distance due the directional lightmaps. some maps are quite heavily overloaded with those and thus not so enjoyable. 3 maps have are basically without those, but other 3 are quite ugly.

not really sure about that yet. there was some thread in chivalry forums about it, but it was only the moderator who said some things about possibility. and ryan only ported dungeon defenders, not the udk ... but lets wait and see. hopefully epic will hire him or do the udk porting anyway.

yes, but there currently is no way to export to linux yet. and ryan didnt do the DD port for epic games. and yes there might be RO2 for linux soon as well. but still those are just ports by ryan for the companies of those particular games, not ports for epic games engine. Ofc the steam is moving things a little, so im quite sure we will eventually see the native port of udk as well. as ryan said in gamingonlinux, his old ut3 code was used in udk mac port and some leftovers from linux one.

try changing windows mode in winecfg to winxp or win7 and see if it makes any difference.

you can boost the fps a little when setting GLSL disabled in registry. if im not mistaken the winetricks command for it was winetricks glsl=disable

last time i checked it was dx11 only title. so thats the reason it wont work in wine sadly

Hi! I use Ubuntu 14.04 I have downloaded the game but when I click play it just takes me to the small "first time setup" window to download microsoft VC redist, and then it goes no where from there. Any suggestions?
