Not really a benchmark but one guy compiled it for linux using latest UE4.1... just to show how bad it runs :)

PS! its probably not really optimized for linux just yet!

Vandevoo Pl well first i suggest you to try out ... go to distrowatch.com and test some from top10 list there and choose the one you like.. probably first test would be fine to do in virtualbox to get the look and feel of it... then dualboot...and then when you are comfortable with using it...remove windblows

Recently even thought about switching from Windows to a Linux but I do not know what, and if everything goes according to plan. Can you tell me the easiest Linux but it must be nice :)

i think so... its not really optimized for linux..its just compiled for linux by a guy from phoronix forums.. probably no optimizations used etc...but well at least its on its way.. im sure it will be optimized in time

Hi, I'm Oscar guy who posted demo on Phoronix, will soon try to post 4.2 build (fixing Mesa drivers bug) and post also Win OGL demos which wasn't posible before 4.2.. I have running MacOS versión (GL3 currently per platform restriction) also if people want can post also! So people can bench Linux vs Win vs MacOS on UE4.. Also will post Elemental demo for three platforms if there is interest.. Last thing remaining will be to post a MacOS GL4 demo once supported in UE4 (assuming 10.10 supports all needed)

This may not be a very good perforamnce, but for something so recently adding support for linux I feel that this is an extremely good start. It's actually running at almost playable framerates.
