@@Marcosv12v1 Don't think in Windows you are not using Libriarys in Windows. It is the same in Both Systems. in Linux they are just Linux specific an matching the System calls from the (sometimes/often, not always) Windows Games to Linux System calls. Also there are a Majority of Games that are also just ported to Windows from an other System (mainly Consoles). just use what suits YOUR need best. I prefer Linux and agree with Xpander69

It could be better if gaming is the only thing you are doing. It all depends what your priorities are. I personally switched to linux in 2007 and never looked back really. OS comes first for me, Gaming is just a bonus.

Its quite easy. There is not much debate. With Linux you are in control of your system. You choose the things you want to use, customize the way you want. With windows you are more restricted by what microsoft thinks you have to use. Thats it. there are pros and cons for both, its up to each individual to decide.
