seems to work absolutely perfectly, performance is incredible.
game is a bit dated graphical detail wise though, but fun anyway.
hopefully next Mount & Blade will come with native support as well.

RaphaelAtherill in wine?, yes i can, it nicely shows my windows version as well as wine version there... edit: ohh thats not the configuration window...but i can open steam settings as well yeah.

RaphaelAtherill i have no idea really..i havent tried in wine since the native version.. native version works perfectly for me with no input lag.. but i dont use vsync which might cause the input lag.. i just use compton which kills the tearing for me instead the vsync

It is indeed, but I find it unpleasant due to the horrible input lag. Moreover, I want to compare performance ahcievable with WINE, native client and original Windows game.
