***** this is also nowhere near witcher 2 in terms of graphical quality so it runs pretty much on lower end stuff. i dont know who ported..but afaik its not eON port... though i had no issues with witcher 2 perf anyway...

Xpander69 I'm still cautious. You have a potent rig that I'm sure can power through even Witcher 2. Is the word out on who ported this yet? We know it's not Techland itself, or Aspyr or Feral.

perf is rock solid.. no complaints..but the narrow Field of View makes me motion sick.. also too much bloom. FoV can be changed from Data0.pak -> Data/Skills/default_levels.xml

no its not in closed beta... what version do you have? first only some GOTY versions worked..but now about 15 hours ago they have fixed every release... at least according to steamdb.info.. maybe try restart your steam? or verify files

Xpander69 Are you having any frame tearing issues? I noticed there is no "Fullscreen windowed" option nor is there a "V-Sync" option.

Harrison Gould no no tearing, but i use compton (compton --backend glx --vsync opengl-swc) that thing eliminates all tearing for me.. except for recording output.

Soon as i seen this had a Linux version i went on steam and bought it, as currently 75% off deep silver games, so this + riptide were only £6 and thats not bad at all

I'd be happier with this if it wasn't a f***ing wrapper "port". If everyone did it this way, we'd never get a true native port of anything, and Linux would have no real credibility as a gaming platform... Still, another game, another reason not to play on Wine or Windows partition. Keep it up the excellent videos.

but it isnt a wrapper port afaik.. its not done by VP.. there were 3 names credited for linux port and 1 of them was from Techland... also by checking the files and executable there seem to be no wrappers related stuff...

Xpander69 i think dat native 1. Asian/cyrylic fonts not work... like in native 1st relse versions (like was in valve, air conclicrs and paradox games) 1a. asian fonts works perfect in 1st relese Witcher 2 eON. 2. saves at clund are not crossplatform like at native games (paradox games, civ 5) So i think its native but i also not know it. I thinks dat u're sure for native port.
