I hope more borked anticheat games are soon to be enabled because of Steam Deck! I don't personally like Epic Games, but its a shame they wont support Fortnite on Linux. Maybe they will change their mind if Steam Deck becomes popular enough. Linux gaming is already really good, but I think it's about to take off thanks to Valve and the deck.

Hooly shitt! I'm testing it right now! BTW, just noticed, how did you manage to make xanmod 5.16 work on nvidia? Shouldn't it fail to build the dkms module? I know nothing about dkms, maybe the answer is "you just build it yourself" or something like that.

@@2khz I use void linux and I think that nvidia package in the repos is the dkms one, but for some kernels it fails to compile, I don't know why, and since in xanmod webpage says that only stable kernel has support for dkms modules I supposed it was more troublesome to develop.

If you're using an Arch-based distro there's a handy nvidia-dkms package in the repositories which'll handle this when you upgrade/install a kernel

i build the xanmod from AUR, and nvidia drivers with tkg scripts. I had no issues with dkms building modules.

Its not officially confirmed yet but the .so files are coming with the game and according to steamdb theres a configuration to load the target OS eac stuff.

Hi. It looks great on steam deck but yeah the stuttering is noticeable. Do you have the video graphic setting on all High? Do you still get stuttering when the graphics are on all low?

It's not Steam Deck footage. It's a Linux PC. Settings were maxed 1440p, i somehow forgot to record this, which i usually do for each of my videos in my channel. I havent tried lower settings. Stuttering is gone after getting the dxvk cache from the link in the pinned comments or video description. Havent checked if this is done automatically now by Valve in steam.

If you have a nvidia GPU with vulkan beta drivers (515.49.10), you can use proton-experimental that includes graphics pipeline library, makes the game compile shaders without major stutters.
