PlayOnLinux 4.1.3
wine 1.5.5 - League of Legends (which comes with the installation wizard)
installation is straight forward. League of Legends is located in the testing category of playonlinux.
Framerate is mostly at 60 fps sometimes drops to 45 without recording that is;hardware specs further down in the description
game settings: 1920x1080 all high, vsync off
ISSUES:
-shop works but is slow and can not buy RIOT points (that part of the shop ironically fails)
-cast bars/recall bar show allways full
-after each game there will be bugsplat error message, which can just be ignored
-game sometimes crashes before entering to loading screen (happens with windows players als); need to kill all LoL related proccesses and restart the game to reconnect.
-Rune Page pickup sometimes shows weird symbols and numbers (same bug for windows users)

i personaly just use ffmpeg script (found in the video description) but there are graphical tools also.
like kazam, gamecaster, soulcapture and similar.
there is no real alternative for fraps under linux. most of the screenrecorders quite suck under linux.

I'm on a laptop (i5-2430M & GT 540M) and I cannot reach further than 35FPS... :\ I hope it will be more fluent in the future releases.

force your cpu into the load with jupiter applet or similar.
try useGLSL disabled and turn off vsync from the game and from the nvidia settings.
should improve performance a little.
