Good video some time ago dont show wine based games +Curious wine version used in flatout recognize your card a 8800GTX (audio issue also curious too) Around wine 1.7.30 is added your card in this commit http://source.winehq.org/git/wine.git/commit/9f36db8fa5a863971542e524c7546ed88def61dc + However If you can try test with lastest wine for see how runs in your card and if you can test with 355 drivers series

mrdeathjr28 if you buy from GoG.com you will have windows version also and the linux version is also windows version, just has wine packaged with it and scripts to start. i did test with latest wine also.. i didnt compare performance though, since it runs 60+ fps anyway, but i had sound working.. havent checked if my GPU is reporter correctly though..not a issue anyway

Xpander69 I have a dude if you have linux flatout version, them have access to windows version too??? And if this possible can test flatout windows version with lastest wine

mrdeathjr28 yes.. didnt check the card recognition but audio works when i bundle my own wine for it to launch, this video was meant for more out of box experience..and that was what it was.

mrdeathjr28 wine version they use seems to be 1.6.2 ..pretty old one... im not into wine lately because there are too many native games to enjoy

Raven 4096 i don't own space engineers. there might be no videos but theres PlayOnLinux forums and winehq appdatabase where you can usually find help for such cases

why so? you can still install those same way i did in this video, just need to mark the file as executable afaik. GoG Galaxy coming to linux might still take some time. I'm Quite sure GoG Support forums can help you if you also if you finding it hard to install games atm

i dont have ubuntu install to do that. Afaik its pretty straight forward from there. download the sh file, go to properties and permissions, mark it as executable and doubleclick it.
