Yep I know its not perfect. Played a few hours and made a vid on it. But for those who hated the wonky gameplay of 4 this is an option.

batmanAC.exe that can be a wine issue, head over to winehq.org to look into whats needed to be done for this game. Outlast 1? the native one? starting from steam or from other place? good idea is to drag and drop OLGame.x86_64 into terminal and hit enter, then see whats the problem.

thx it worked. and I also Have batman Arkham City GOTY, when I click the BatmanAC.exe it doesnt seem to run, same problem with Outlast. any soulutions?

turn off those DX10 things in the video settings..then start putting them on one by one to see which causes this..i cant remember exactly but one of those was causing huge frame drops and lower fps

What patch you are talking about? Some update from steam or the game, or someone made a patch for it?

Ahh Annotations, i had it turned off.. Well probably there was a patch after this game released to Linux which made some improvements in terms of performance. Virtual Programming who ported it to linux, probably added it. Shader Cache is a thing in Linux and OpenGL. Some games run quite bad on first launch because they need to cache their shaders for the next time to run smoother as they are loading them from the disk instead of compiling while gaming. It was an update from steam.
