crossover 12.2.2

seems to work almost perfectly. except the framerate drops when loading new areas.
those can get quite annoying in times. but still perfectly playable.

might be wine problem then but for me it only used 2 cores max. probably thats the reason it gets choppy

it comes with mate yes. marco is the window manager name. i do use compositing on top of it also. tool called compton

directx problem is easy to fix, either you install d3dx11 or xact via wine. but the problem is deeper. with the treads. i didnt use wine for this game.. you can read from the description what i did use. hopefully wine will get those fixes into the source soon as well

there is basically no tutorial.. it only works with crossover and there is automatic script to install that.. nothing to tweak by hand

It's sad how this game is going more oriented towards directX than it is for something more... moldable. (I.E. java) if it ran under java, that'd be even greater.

can you read? .. first its almost 2 years old video.. and secondly i played it through crossover, which is commercial wine. its not running natively on linux
