installation is difficult at first yes..but there are nice archwikis to check everything. once you get your stuff set up.. you are pretty much in a flow of speed :).... and also you learn a lot about your system when setting it up

Wow, it's really smooth performance! Hey, I'm curious. I noticed you upgraded your CPU recently (correct me if I'm wrong). Has that helped reduce your video rendering times? Would you say it's a worthwhile purchase?

yes i upgraded and it has been a good upgrade. the rendering times are almost twice as fast as they used to be with my old 4 core when it comes to the editing with kdenlive at least. and also recording is much smoother now because more free cores for ffmpeg script to handle it. that cpu was well the 135€ worth.
