winetricks directx9 and ie8 needed (use 32bit wineprefix to be able to install ie8)
UseGLSL disabled registry key used for slight perf boost.

game seems to use a lot of CPU, in fact 3 cores in load, which gives only 1 core for my screen capture, thus reducing the framerate a lot when recording.
Open Areas and Dungeons were around 40-60 FPS with the graphics settings shown in the videos. In the City around 40 FPS but in extremely crowded places dropped to 20-25 fps as well.

Forgot to record ingame sound, because i switched back to MATE desktop and didnt notice that pulseaudio settings were reset.

did you read the description? ie8 installation is needed with winetricks, otherwise you cant login or if you already have it and the login button is not there maybe beta has endend atm?

The problem is that IE8 will not install on my architecture. So I need to find another way to install it. Thanks for the help!

u can make a different prefix for neverwinter and setting winearch to 32bit. so ie will install. head over to winehq site wiki to see how to do it

try with newer wine version 1.5.3 doesnt even have rawinput support and might miss some other important features.

i dont know about those bottle things... try playonlinux or pure wine instead ..might be that bottle thingy (crossover?) has something different.

Yup, Open Beta. Think I tracked down the problem. ie8 wasn't installing on 64bit, guessing I need the ia32-libs ? Hmm. If you have a solution let me know.

you using playonlinux? then you can create 32bit wine prefix if pure wine then you can do new wine prefix thats having 32bit WINEARC=win32 ia32bit-libs are not for the ie8 installation.
