Paladins seems to work rather nicely with Steam Play, this is running on Ubuntu without any extra configuration.

Note: Online multiplayer titles *may* eventually lock you out, if they adjust their anti-cheat.

New players play against bots for a while. I had the same impression when I played the game for couple of matches then I realized that I'm facing bot.
