I really hated Race the Sun. Why would I ever want to deliberately drive toward a blinding sun? I have a visor and sunglasses in my car for a reason. It also looked and played like a crummy smartphone game from the early 2010s. But this Whisker Squadron? I have the complete opposite feeling. This looks very fun.

You should check out Fur Squadron, it’s quite similar to Star Fox as well, there’s also a sequel to it called Fur Squadron Phoenix which gave Fur Squadron something in common with Banjo Kazooie & Fossil Fighters. All 3 of them are good but the sequels, Banjo Tooie, Fossil Fighters Champions, & Fur Squadron Phoenix, are better. I hope Fur Squadron doesn’t get a bad third game like Banjo & Fossil Fighters did with Banjo Kazooie Nuts & Bolts & Fossil Fighters Frontier.
