I am hopeful that with the gaming community and steam coming together in time this will be playable without any tweaking. I think the hype around the game gives reason for the work to be done so let's hope we can all enjoy this soon. I'm personally better working with my hands than using my brain and fear breaking anything I mess with that I'm not sure of lol so either way all i can do is hope 🤣👍🏻

game for sure needs some optimization, with the settings it defaulted to my 12700k was hitting 100c even with the fps capped at 100 (Noctua cooler)

God of War apparently is another game requiring an increase in swap file size to avoid crashes. However it is not always necessary to be too aggressive with the setting. I bumped swap file size just to 4GB and was able to play through all of God of War without crashes.

when i press the install cyro that on my desktop screen it says installed and then i get the next icon for the cyro utilities i go to press it to open and literally nothing happens, i only can open it as a note. anyone else have this problem? the program doesnt work at all for some reason

For people watching this now. None of these things work, the crashes are impossible to fix, it is a ram issue I'll give you that but the program doesn't fix that, doesn't work in neither game mode or desktop mode, it still crashes. Until the devs optimize the game for the deck it will do this. And optimizing it is going to be one of the last things done. So sorry but its unavoidable I would just say save often
