New Twitch streamer aggregation implemented (#FuckTwitch) due to Twitch's API issues (more info on my Discord )
We have encountered the Neinzul before, but never like this. All we have ever seen is their vanguard; their young, their hunters. We have never encountered the full central might of their civilization... until now.
New Ways To Play
- Be a Necromancer: Rather than playing as the usual Human Empire, playing as a Necromancer gives you control over a mobile fleet that feasts on the living from other universes.
- Enjoy having other factions from the base game, this or other DLC, or compatible mods as Vassals -- allied subordinate factions that you can give generalized orders to and they'll take care of the details.
- Try a challenging Ark Empire, which has a mobile home command but a lot of other challenging attributes like a lack of a home base.
- You can also play as a Solo Ark, which is mainly when you want a very simple experience (probably helping out friends in multiplayer, or just focusing on bossing around Vassals instead of running your own empire).
NPC Factions
- Neinzul Sappers can be the ultimate ally... for you or your enemies.
- Territory Dispute is actually five Neinzul subfactions fighting amongst themselves, which you can ally with temporarily as your agendas line up.
- Neinzul Hives and Migrant Fleets are yet more of these insectoid aliens drifting through your galaxy.
- Roaming Shroud is a relatively small faction, along the lines of the Zenith Trader, but it sows discord and opportunity for stealth everywhere it moves.
More Notable Features
- Loadouts allow you to choose specific styles/modules for ships in your fleets.
