Oh we also fixed (at least think so) the achievement bug for the secret pickups! The save game issue was fixed also as it was looking for a new folder :/ It's been almost 6 years since the last update and we thought we'd see what happens if we did an update. This is what Pat the creator of Death Squared looked like when we launched Death Squared and now.
We've thought about making a Death Squared 2 but it's hard to know if there's still an audience out there. So we thought we'd test the waters. This coincided with the Box Pushing Steam sale which performed really well (we sold roughly 30% of all units sold on Steam during that week!) So to celebrate these new players we fast tracked the levels. We had an intern, Oscar, come in and he wanted to make some levels as part of his time with us. He did such a good job we thought it'd be a shame if no one could see them. Pat fired up the project again and dropped a few new levels in as did Brodie who previously worked on Moving Out. So part of this was to see how we get back into the groove of making new levels. Plus we received some previously 90% done levels and tidied them up.
The levels are in VAULT: BETA so if you have an issue with a level we can blame it on the BETA! So dive in and let us know what levels you like in the comments. And we might even look to do some 4P free levels if this goes well.
