Haikuna is a word search game set inside The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, Journey to the Center of the Earth, and Don Quixote. Players teleport around these stories to find the words to haiku written during the Nanboku-chō, Edo, Genroku, and Meji periods of Japan*.

Click yōkai to reveal the words they hide.

Click words to either:

Fly to that word OR
Teleport through that word (haiku word)

Clicking a word can reveal a hidden yōkai. Hidden yōkai once revealed will create temporal distortions or present other obstacles that inhibit game play. As you complete more levels, they become more likely to show up, but the problems they create can be canceled out or mitigated with the right magic.
