The most significant changes and additions include :
- Nine worlds of carefully crafted ninja platforming!
- Rad boss fights!
- Died? Rewind at any time, if you'd like! (this difficulty feature can be toggled on/off)
- Stylish limited color palette. Black to white, and red!
- An authentic chiptune soundtrack!
- A fun story delivered through full screen, hand drawn cutscenes!
- Collectables and hidden secrets to unlock extra game modes and other fun stuff!

- Previously mentioned Rewind Mode allows you to rewind during gameplay, making a difficult, but fair game a challenge anyone can enjoy.
- Major touch-ups to most graphics, including enemies, bosses, and other game elements.
