Welcome to "Speakeasy" ,  a fast-paced 2D shoot'em up adventure set against the backdrop of 1930s Chicago. Created for the Uppsala University Game Design 2 Course, this game invites you to dive into the '30s decade with a twist. In Speakeasy, you're the last line of defense for an iconic speakeasy against a relentless mafia onslaught. They're not just any enemies; they're creditors turned attackers, determined to settle scores because of the debts you owe. Your mission? Protect your sanctuary using wit, strategy, and firepower at all costs. 

As you navigate through wave after wave of enemies, Speakeasy offers a frenetic gameplay experience that captures the essence of the era with a modern, dynamic twist.
