Cavern is an Action RPG with heavy Roguelike and Sandbox elements.

Tackle procedurally generated levels and puzzles floor after floor, gathering upgrades to utilize against bosses and enemies alike. The player not only gains powerful upgrades, but also the ability to modify the cave in real-time. Turn a slime into a harmless pot, Destroy terrain, give an armed skeleton a useless stick, rewire traps and use them to your advantage. Every situation presents a unique challenge and a unique solution whether you decide to fight or meddle. As you go deeper into the Cavern, the level generation becomes more chaotic, and the player gains more control.
