New Space Station Map Playtest

  • Space Station map (Early prototype)
  • Lobby ready up voting to start a game or skip the auto starting timer

Changes


  • Race gamemode - Player collision is disabled - Tweaked remaining game time adjustment when first player finishes - Clear items from hands when players finish
  • Scoring depends on new XP system - Kill = 10 xp - Assist = 5 xp - Flag capture = 50 xp - Team win = 250 xp - Race placement = # checkpoints passed + (# total players - # players finished) * 10
  • Game auto starting pauses when no players are connected to the server

Fixes


  • Shooting target dummies with the R870 shotgun created UI hit markers on all clients

X-Mode is a free-to-play medium paced multiplayer FPS with a variety of different gamemodes to play. Perfect for quick casual games with friends or if you're more hardcore you can grind for the top of the global leaderboard.

ABOUT THE DEVELOPER

X-Mode was developed almost completely by me, xZippyZachx. I've been developing video games as a solo indie dev since 2015. X-Mode started development in early 2020 and will be the first game I release on Steam. I also documented the X-Mode development process on YouTube if you're interested.
